Have you ever been disrespected from people your own race?

I work in a hotel i am hispanic, people from mexico come to the U.S like if it was there country. I am a hispanic also but i was born here in the U.S . People from mexico think that they could sue anybody they want.When they are in the store like the mall or walmart they think they could cut on lines and no one could tell them anything. They have to understand that there not in mexico and here in the us they have different laws.
A lady from mexico came up to me when i was at work insulting me in spanish,
for something that was not my fault, and i couldnt defend myself for 2 reasons
one i was at work two i don’t know how to defend my self in spanish. i hate her i just have her in my head all the time cause of her i almost lost my job.

Of course. I’m caucasian. Opportunists and people with bad manners come in every variety. I’ve also seen (white) Americans act badly when they’re in another country with a different ethnicity, so much so that I’m embarrassed to be identified with them. Race has nothing to do with it. People are people all over the world.

It’s awful that you went through the stress of nearly losing your job. You don’t need any more stress over it. Please stop tormenting yourself with thoughts of her. I firmly believe that “what goes around” eventually “comes around”. She’ll get payback from somewhere. Just let her go.
