Do you really care about Wal Mart’s sub-par treatment of employees if it means you get lower Prices?

Just saying. Wal Mart’s rep is notorious forpoor treatment of employees, anti labor policies, “sweatshop labor”, ect. But do you care if this means that prices are lower.

If it’s not negativly affecting you do you stil put ethics before selfish needs and why?

I’ll only buy there if they have a product that I won’t find somewhere else or I’m with someone who has to go there. I myself hate their business and labor practices.

The so-called WalMart effect has priced smaller stores to go out of business and it decides which manufacturers will be on their shelves, and therefore successful or not successful. While companies are outsourcing higher paying jobs overseas, us Americans are working for minimum wage and aren’t able to afford health care, as well forcing them to work off the clock. America is literally becoming poorer overtime. It shouldn’t be surprising that the United States has one of the lowest standards of living of all the industrialist countries partly due to WalMart and its effect.

It has also been proven that they don’t always have the lowest prices.

I hate WalMart and I am so glad that many cities in my metro area have successfully fought against having one of their stores built.
