battery auto walmart
I just bought a soft air gun pistol. when i shoot it, the blowback works but no bb comes out. what’s wrong?

i just bought a brand new Crosman Pulse P70 soft air pistol from Walmart. I took it out of the package, put four brand new triple aaa batteries in it, loaded the magazine with the bbs that came with it, put the magazine back in correctly, and switched it to semi auto. when i shot it, the blowback seemed to work but no bb came out. i turned the gun over and shook it, and the bb fell out of the barrel. the same happens on full auto. i was using normal 66 mm bbs like it says to use, and i also tried a whole bunch of high quality bbs but nothing worked. what the heck is wrong with this brand new gun?
