What is the best laptop to purchase…?

for $800 or less? My mom sent $800 for each of my kids for a laptop for Christmas. But I want to make sure I get them each one that is reliable, has long battery life, lasts at least three years and can handle online games and has a built in web cam. Though I rarely do so, this time, I’m going to recommend HP.

It is a hardy laptop that, if treated well, should last in excess of 5 years, and has a strong battery life by all standards for such. It has a good processor, and more than enough RAM, and the video card is good enough for any online game. Best of all, it has a high definition screen, as well as Blu-Ray capability. It costs a little more than the ones you’ve mentioned, but it’s an excellent deal.
