is wal-mart doing layaway this year
What stores offer layaway in the Illinois area for anything?

I am a single parent just thinking ahead for christmas and b-day this year. I use to use wal-mart but they no longer do it. I just tried Meijer and they stopped too. Who else is left? I am willing to travel.

My suggestion is that you call the stores you’d like to do business with and simply ask. My guess is that few do offer layaway anymore as this adds to the cost of doing business. The original reason for “layaway” was to make sure the item you wanted would be available in time for Christmas. This is not really a problem except for a few hot, new releases.
