How long should I wait to call for status for my second interview?

I had my first interview with Wal-Mart for assistant manager on Tuesday, it was the behavioral kind. Questions and examples and stuff. I assume its just to see if I have integrity issues and if I am able to be trained. I think it went well, of course afterwards I thought it could have went better… Anyway, I had it with the store manager and with the market electronics manager (who was on the phone via conference). They told me they will call me back shortly for a second interview.
Now I am impatient and this job means a lot to me, given my career status. So I am wondering should I be the one to follow up or should I wait it out? I already sent the store manager a thank you, and faxed to market manager a thank you. I am guessing the second interview would be the market manager since he is the decision maker. This isnt a one postion job either, its to enter the training course. Anyone, go through these with Wal-Mart??

Standard practice is to wait a week. If you have already sent a thank you letter, you are good. Wait two weeks and call if you still don’t hear anything.
