What do you think about wal-mart getting rid of layaway?

I know I will miss it that helped alot at christmas.Guess i will have to shop at k-mart at christmas now,and I don’t like K-mart,but what else can you do when you have lots of people to buy for and I can’t afford to buy everything I will need and pay for it all at once.
I think it is a BAD Move for Business.wal-mart will lose money .

I agree I think it is a bad business decision.There are people out there who counted on the layaway,and credit card purchases are nothing like a layaway,you buy on credit you pay more for the Item.I used layaway at Christmas,just because it was more convenient for me,I had what I wanted for my kids and they could not nose around and find it.I hope wal-mart reconsiders this choice they have made.
