what strategies can Wal-Mart do to improve as a whole company?

What business strategies can Wal-Mart develop> what are the pros and cons of each? Example cost leadership strategy, differentiation business strategies. Consider stability, growth, and retrenchment as corporate strategies. Also how can they implement this strategies?

My thought is they might consider who they are selling to as well as to who is not employed by them to manufacture the cheap disposable product. Wal-Mart has a very good relationship w/the Chinese Government-like we had to guess at that one. Wal-Mart is crushing all local smaller competition + then you have no where else to get your needed products. There is no one else left to buy from. Prob is: you will buy it 3 or 4 times from them due to the cheap nature of the product or the lead recalls or whatever else is wrong w/it. Houston boots used to be a great boot made in USA. No longer-it was bought out by Wal-Mart + moved to China. It is now the fastest boot to wear out on the soles ever made. The avg boot soles made by “Wal-Mart AKA Houston boot Company” will get you by for about 2 months tops b-4 you start developing knee + other feet-leg related issues. What happened in the UK? They banned all of the flip flops coming from China due to severe feet issues-I believe it had something to do w/chemicals burning peoples feet. More later.
