What are the qualifications for food stamps? .?

I earn about $570 bi-weekly and my father gets $1119 monthly from social security. I work at Wal-Mart, he’s retired.

You would need to contact your local department of health and welfare. Some states will only consider your income, others consider income for the entire household. Also, in some states, if you receive child support, they can require you to forfeit that to them for the food stamps (that’s how it is in my state). It all depends on how many people are in the household and the state’s guidelines for poverty levels.
