Walmart money card : what happened?

ok so i purchased a walmart moneycard on the 19th and put $65 on it. I was going to use it buy second life lindens. From the main website it wanted paypal, so i made a paypal account and transferred the money from the card to paypal, then tried to purchase the lindens for $64.13. Right now i have .87 cents left on the money card, paypal shows me having no money at all, and i haven’t received any lindens. Its now the 21st, i called the moneycard customers service earlier and basically she said the transfer is pending and it has until Dec.31st and if it doesn’t go through then it will be put back in my card. Ive been told that when people buy lindens usually with any kind of card it usually goes straight through. So my question is does this sound right, does it usually take days for something to pend?
