Buying Online via PayPal?

Do you have to verify your PayPal account (give them your credit card number) to buy things online (example: from walmart.com, etc)? I have already given them my address and phone number, but do I have to give them bank account or credit card number to but things online via PayPal? THANKS A LOT IN ADVANCE!!!

You don’t have to, but its preferred. Verifying your account is an additional security step, and adding the Credit Card, will allow for ‘instant’ transfers from your bank account instead of waiting 2-5 business days. (Basically that way if the bank transfer fails, it will charge it to your credit card instead.)
