What are they going to do to me?

I stole an iPod ( the new one ) from my work ( walmart ). Im pretty sure they are gunna see me stealing on the camera.
Im 16 and im going to bring the iPod back tomorrow whether i get caught or not. But if i DO get caught what can happen to me? ( ipods worth like 159$$)
and will giving the ipod back change anything while im already caught?

okay, well I have worked at wal-mart for eleven years, and I will say that you will more than likely be fired, but you may however get some bonus points for your honesty, and even though they may fire you they don’t have to ruin your work record, but they can, it just depends on what they want to do. I know that stealing anything over $50 dollors is a felony, and they can press charges.

Okay now that I have said all that let me say this. I am a supervisor at a wal-mart, and I personally would cut you some slack. First of all I know that you are only 16, and everyone make mistakes, god knows I have. The fact that you are willing to fess up to your mistake means alot, and I think it will to your boss as well. Don’t get me wrong I would still fire you, I just wouldn’t press charges or destroy your work record.
