What type of paint for veneered furniture?
I have some cheapo veneered furniture I bought at Walmart for my son’s room, and I’d like to paint the drawer fronts and the nightstand blue to match his room.
What type of paint would be best for this? I’d imagine normal latex paint would just peel right off… should it be covered with primer first? Or just painted with some other type of paint?
I want it to be durable, it’s for a kids room.
What is Varathane? Never heard of that type of paint before.
Any decent spray paint like Krylon over a primer is fine.
Auto paint over auto primer is probably the toughest finish for kid’s furniture.
Prime ,then 2or 3 color thin applications w/ a light rub in between well dried coatsw/ fine steel or bronze wool
Either way, about $15 for everything.
