Cruise and luggage requirements?
I will be going on Carnival Destiny in December. I have this luggage set: http://www.walmart.com/catalog/product.do?product_id=11069673
I am planning on taking 3 dresses, about 5 outfits, 3 swim suits, flip flops and toiletries. Which pretty much fills the biggest suit case. I want to bring 3 dressy heels for the dinners but was wondering if it would be okay to put it in the shoulder bag. Would they let me on board with more than one bag? And how heavy can they be?
Also I want to bring a beach towel but I was told that they let you take theirs. If so that would save me room in my suit case.

Its only a 5 day cruise. I also want to know how many luggage tags each person gets?
And does it get chilly in the Bahamas? Gee I have so many questions, lol sorry!
Would bringing a beach tote be a good idea when going on excursions? My husband and I plan on walking around the town.
You mention that you’re going on a 5 day cruise. I would guess that there is only 1 formal night. At the most, 2. Therefore, you need one dress. Even if it’s 2 formal nights, you can just change the accessories. And one pair of heels is enough. No one wears heels on the other nights, and you’ll only feel out of place.
For other evenings take mix and match outfits. And you certainly can wear an outfit for 2 days. Wear flat shoes.
2 swimsuits are more than enough. They dry in the Sun.
Take a couple of pair of shorts and t-shirts.
Take flip-flops, but also take good walking shoes. You’ll need them on the ship, and off the ship.
You definitely don’t need a beach towel. They are provided. They
also provide a hair dryer.
Take a sweater and/or a light jacket. It’s also good to have one long sleeve blouse or top for the evening.
I don’t think there is any limit on luggage brought onto the ship. But remember, you will only get a very tiny closet and few drawers. And most likely you’ll have to keep the luggage under your bed.
A beach tote sounds like a good idea.
I’m going on a 12 day cruise (Ive been on many), and I’m taking a 28 inch suitcase, and a small gym type of bag.
Do not put any meds in your suitcase. Carry it on. If you believe that you’ll be able to use the pool the first day, carry on your swim clothes.
Often your suitcase does not get to your room for a few hours.
Have a great time. I’m sure you’ll enjoy yourself.
