Is Walmart Protection Plan worth getting for a new Ipod Touch?

I just got a new Ipod touch and Walmart offers a 3 year protection plan for only $48… a lot cheaper than the 2 year plan at Best Buy. Do you think it’s worth paying the $48 for the 3 year protection plan? Or is the Ipod Touch reliable?

It depends what it protects against. If they will replace it if it drops then yeah but if not then no. Thats the only reason ipods break are because of abuse and use. They usually last a long time. I wouldn’t fork out the money for a protection plan. I have 2 ipods for years and the only problem was my first one and that was 3 years later and it was just a battery problem where it was draining faster.
