walmart photo center hours
Anyone work at Wal-mart?

Hey i work for Wal-mart as a Photo center specialist. I hear alot of people say how bad it is to work for Walmart. I can’t make myself agree. I kinda like my job, i mean, no managers really mess with you unless they need too, they kinda just ignore you and let you do your job. You get a ton of breaks, hour lunch, which makes your day go by so fast, If i need to talk to a manager about something they always seem to take care of my problem or question. I asked for full time after working there a year, i had it within a month. you get holiday pay, vacation, sick days. i mean whats so bad about working for walmart?

You seem to have really good management.
The reason I sometimes dislike my job is…being a Department Manager you are management little bitches haha..everything wrong in a department, weather its your fault or not…becomes your fault. Also I being in Wireless I am RIGHT next to Electronics, Electronics people use me and my associates as there back up staff. I will be doing a contract, and there will be NO electronic associates in site, leaving me with a crowd of cranky customers wanting Games/TVs/IPODs etc…
A lot of people complain bc they get taken advantage off by management, also being in the Photo Department(at least in my store) You are usually left alone. For some reason Photo seems to be invisible lol!
The disrespect you get from customers, and the disrespect you get from management. Management will usually ALWAYS side with the customer over an associate, no matter who is right. Just bc they are spending there money. I honestly think over 1/2 my pay check goes right back into Wal*Mart!!!
I love MY JOB! MY Department! I don’t love doing Photo/Electronics/Chemicals/Sporting Goods/Register/Toys ETC…
