Returning my xbox 360 back to walmart?

i just bought an xbox 360 elite(the new version that comes with halo3 odst and forza 3) 3 weeks ago, now when i turn it on it doesnt display anything on my tv, I tried every thing with that and no thing worked. now If i return it to walmart would they give my money back or would they give me a new system or what? what do you know about walmarts returing policy for xbox 360s?
