Can I get a zero-value Walmart Gift Card?

We went to Walmart the other day and my cousin saw a cute gift card with ponies on it (she’s and she wanted it but she had no money to put on it and I was wondering if you can take gift cards without putting money on them.

I doubt it. Next time you go shopping there, purchase one before you pay for your other stuff. Put $5 on it(there is no tax or additional fees). Afterwards, put all your items you’re going to purchase up there and then use the $5 giftcard with the ponies on it. There will be no money left on there, and it was free(just took a few extra seconds of your time).
