walmart vizio 42 plasma
im looking at two tvs what should i get. one is a Vizio 42″ Class Plasma or RCA 40″ Full HD both at walmart?

I would not buy plasma as beautiful as it is due to the warranty issues. Plasma is a gas tube when it cracks it will leak out and die leaving you with a empty piece of plastic. the manufacture will generally give you a replacement tv however it will not be at the store value but the insurance value. The difference could be hundreds less leaving you to pay all over again. LCD is liquid Crystal which can be taken to a warranty shop and fixed and it is almost always covered. The reason for LCD Being dominate in the market is the durability factor compared to Plasma . I happen to think plasma looks much much better but it is also much much more fragile.
