*** WEATHERBY VANGUARD ***?

I plan on getting an affordable rifle chambered in .308. I have done alot of research on the Weatherby Vanguard .308. Is this a good gun for $400 and what is the cost of one at walmart, or (what is the lowest price on a new one?) Is the Weatherby Vanguard .308 a good gun and what distances is it capable of sniping at?

The Vanguard is a good rifle, at a good price.
Even if it was priced higher it would be a solid choice.
Walmart will often have the cheapest prices, as they probably buy a semi trailer of Vanguards at a time.

If you had the ability, you could hit a reasonable size target at 1000 yards.
At first, you may have trouble hitting a target at 100 yards. Most of it depends on your ability.
