What kind of Router should I get?
What kind of Router should I get? I have a laptop (Dell Inspiron) and an Xbox 360. Both of them are wireless. But I can’t have them on at the same time, otherwise the connection won’t work at all. My current router is a Lynksis (I bought it for $60.00 at Walmart). I know the internet here is fine because I can go on the Xbox and laptop at the same time IF the laptop is connected through an Ethernet cable to the router. But the connection does not work when both are connected wirelessly. So I’m thinking of buying a more powerful router that can hopefully handle both devices on at the same time.
Black Friday is coming up, so hopefully there will be deals on routers (can anyone confirm this for me?). If anyone has any advice, please answer. What kind of router will be able to handle both my Xbox and laptop connected to it?
BTW, my dad’s laptop cannot connect online at all. He has an Acer. If anyone has any clue what’s wrong with that, please comment.
